About Me....

I am a traditional paper scrapper by virtue of the fact that I have a ton of stuff left over from Leaving Prints. I was a wanna-be instructor for a year before the company closed the doors.

This year I got into digital scrapbooking. I have had Photoshop on my computer for years, but I really hadn't had the opportunity to learn it. Our company, Desktop Images, produced training DVDs for Photoshop and I have viewed them, but I guess if ya don't use it ya loose it. Now I am finally getting it! Yippeee! I learned how to take out red-eye tonight.

I just did this layout from Christmas and all the eyes were red. I really got to practice my skills! These are my cute nephews. The paper and embellishments are from the Little Christmas freebie by Nikki Painter, a featured designer with Faith Sisters. Her web site is: www.scrapwithnikki.com.

Faithbooking

I started this blog to update what I have been doing in regards to faithbooking. I've been getting into this since October or so. A friend of mine started a great site called Faith Sisters in September of last year.

I am amazed at the growth of the membership since then. Apparently there is a need for this! Who knew? If you listen to the media these days, no one wants to hear about faith. I guess that's not so.

In any case, A bunch of us girls chat in the forum, and work on our scrapbooks there. Some are into digital scrapbooking and some are old-school paper scrappers. You don't even have to be faithbooking to go there. Just post your normal scrapbook pages in the gallery and join the fun! It's so cool to see what others are doing. There is amazing talent represented. There is also a shop to get digital papers and embellishments. Lots of free stuff too!
